Interpreters and Creators

We all want to honor our children's destiny, that person who - with all the right magic - they might marvelously become. But because we are not, we cannot always see their truth clearly, and they certainly cannot always express it or trust it.
Are there really only two types of people in the world?
Recently I heard Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adam say that there are two types of people: Those who live in Brooklyn and those who wish they did.
As I think about my two children, I would venture that there are two types of people: Those who interpret the world and those who create it.
The first group includes those of us who try to understand the world and how to accomplish our own goals given the circumstances. We organize, administer, and work for change within the system.
The second group includes those who are not so interested in the world as it is, but instead have a vision for how they would like it to be. This isn't only grand ideas, but also just a new perspective on the human experiences - socks, ear phones, cheese, etc.
How will I let my children each become the person they are meant to be without knowing their destiny, and particularly if one or both of them are creators, whereas I am an interpreter?
